1. Scope of Work
Kirk Websites ("Developer") agrees to design and develop a website for the Client based on the project description, features, and price submitted with this agreement. Work outside the agreed scope may require additional fees, to be discussed and agreed upon before being performed.
2. Project Price & Payment
The Client agrees to pay the total project price listed in this agreement. Any deposit submitted is applied toward the total price, with the remaining balance due according to the payment schedule provided by Kirk Websites. Submitting this form does not process payment; an official invoice will be issued separately.
3. Timeline
Work will begin once payment terms have been satisfied and any required materials (content, images, branding) have been provided by the Client. Delays in providing materials may extend the project timeline.
4. Revisions
The agreed price includes a reasonable number of revisions during development. Requests that substantially change the original scope may be treated as additional work.
5. Ownership
Upon receipt of full payment, ownership of the final delivered website transfers to the Client. Kirk Websites retains the right to display the completed project in its portfolio unless otherwise agreed in writing.
6. Cancellation
Either party may cancel the project in writing. Any deposit or payment for work already completed is non-refundable.
7. Limitation of Liability
Kirk Websites is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the completed website.
This is a summary agreement template. A detailed, signed contract may be provided separately for larger projects.
